ADAM W. JONES

Broker-in-Charge/CEO

Adam Jones grew up in Raleigh, NC and is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communications. He earned his real estate license after a fifteen-year career in marketing and advertising, where he worked with companies like Sports Endeavors (soccer.com and lacrosse.com), Aerosoles, Brann Worldwide and IBM. Adam’s hobby of renovating older homes in and around Chapel Hill led to him start Mill House Properties in 2002. 
Adam focuses on helping clients buy and sell investment property in the Chapel Hill market and across the state of North Carolina. He holds designations of BIC (Broker-in-Charge) and GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute). He is a member of the NAR (National Association of Realtors), GCHAR (Greater Chapel Hill Association of Realtors), NARPM (National Association of Residential Property Managers) and PNC (Preservation North Carolina). He is a big supporter of Carolina Athletics and an active member of the Ram’s Club. Adam is married and the father of two young girls, Lilly and Ainslie.

YING ZHU

Property Manager/ Broker

Ying Zhu was born in Shanghai, China, and raised in New York City. Ying is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and Julliard; an award-winning, classically-trained concert pianist and music teacher. Seeking a respite from big city life, she moved from New York City to Chapel Hill. She now owns and runs a piano studio in Chapel Hill, teaching nearly thirty students. In 2019, following her long-time passion for real estate and investing, Ying started working for Mill House Properties as a Leasing Consultant and is now our Property Manager. Ying’s desire to learn the business motivated her to earn her real estate Broker's license.

Ajani McIntosh

Danni Dwiggins

Leasing and Office Coordinator

Danni Dwiggins was born and raised in Maryland, spending her summers by the beach or at her family's mountain property in Pennsylvania. Upon graduating, she chose to honor a family tradition by enlisting in the Navy, where she served as a Machinist Mate. Danni’s crucial role involved converting seawater into usable water for the ship, showcasing her problem-solving skills and dedication to mission critical tasks. Danni has experience overseeing multi-family complexes in the area and is working towards obtaining her real estate license to further enhance her knowledge and credentials. Danni’s greatest joy comes from her children and grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys weekend getaways, concerts, and camping.

Ajani McIntosh

Ajani McIntosh

Leasing Consultant

Ajani McIntosh grew up in Sylva, NC, gaining valuable experience working in

his family's real estate business before pursuing his education at the

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, recently graduating with a B.A

in Sports Administration and History. He is currently pursuing his Master’s

in Coaching Education in Soccer at Ohio University. During his

undergraduate studies he served as an intern for Beacon Partners, a

commercial real estate firm in Charlotte. Ajani is passionate about soccer

and is a coach at Triangle United and Chapel Hill High School, as well as

his own personal training business.

MICHELLE JOHNSON

Director of HOA Operations

Michelle Johnson is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration. She has been in HOA management for fifteen years. Michelle has worked multiple roles in the company including Office Manager, Community Manager and most recently as Director of Operations.. Her extensive experience working with HOA Boards, vendors and homeowners makes her uniquely qualified to provide communities with the guidance and support they are looking for in a property management company.

ANNETTA JONES HOGGARD

HOA Manager

Annetta Jones Hoggard grew up in Raleigh and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English Literature. After working in advertising, publicity and communications for many years in New York City, Hilton Head Island and Washington D.C. , she took a walkabout of several months in Europe to pursue her artistic and musical interests. Upon return to NC, she worked as a publicist for UNC-TV before marrying and starting a family. While her children were young she returned to university to pursue a major in Studio Art subsequently teaching at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. Annetta is new to HOA management but is excited to join the team and use her communication background while building new skills in the field. She still hopes to make time for her art, music, gardening, walking and reading (but not at the same time).

TARA LACARA

Finance Manager

Tara Lacara grew up working in her family’s real estate business in Pennsylvania before attending Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. After studying accounting, she went on to work at a large law firm in Boston before relocating to North Carolina. Tara was the Finance Director for a Chapel Hill private school and Finance Manager for Berkeley Property Management, which later merged with Mill House when they added their HOA division in 2019.
