YING ZHU
Property Manager/ Broker
Ying Zhu was born in Shanghai, China, and raised in New York City. Ying is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and Juilliard; an award-winning, classically trained concert pianist and music teacher. Seeking a respite from big city life, she moved from New York City to Chapel Hill.
Today, Ying oversees a portfolio of more than 400 properties and directs the operations of Mill House Properties, leading a dedicated team with a focus on excellence, efficiency, and integrity. Her expertise spans all aspects of real estate, from residential and commercial sales to guiding investors in protecting and growing their assets. Known for her ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on management, Ying ensures that the company runs with precision, integrity, and care.

JUDY TRIPP
Leasing and Maintenance Manager
Judy Tripp is a native and lifelong resident of Chapel Hill. She joined Mill House Properties at the beginning of 2024 following its acquisition of A2Z Realty. With over 20 years of expertise in leasing, customer service, accounting, office administration, and HOA management, she brings a wealth of knowledge to the team. Outside of work, Judy loves boating, unwinding at the lake, or enjoying the beach. She is deeply connected to her church, values family time, and finds joy in singing and spending moments with her grandchildren.

Brandon Williams
Maintenance Coordinator
Brandon Williams was born and raised in Chapel Hill, and he brings a strong sense of local pride and care to everything he does. With over ten years of experience in property maintenance, Brandon approaches each task with thoughtfulness, reliability, and a genuine desire to do things right. His calm, approachable nature makes him easy to work with—even when the job is a tough one.
Outside of work, Brandon feels most at home in the outdoors. He enjoys camping and spending time at the beach with close friends. For him, it’s all about taking care of what matters—whether it’s a home, a project, or the people around him.

LAURIN UNDERHILL
Leasing & Office Coordinator
Laurin graduated from UNC with her Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. She brings over 15 years of experience in customer service, project management, and business process optimization. She spends her free time creating paper crafts, reading speculative fiction, and playing video games. You can occasionally find her and her husband roaming through botanical gardens or nature trails hunting for their favorite plants and animals.

MICHELLE JOHNSON
Director of HOA Operations
Michelle Johnson is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration. She has been in HOA management for fifteen years. Michelle has worked multiple roles in the company including Office Manager, Community Manager and most recently as Director of Operations.. Her extensive experience working with HOA Boards, vendors and homeowners makes her uniquely qualified to provide communities with the guidance and support they are looking for in a property management company.

ANNETTA JONES HOGGARD
HOA Manager
Annetta Jones Hoggard grew up in Raleigh and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in English Literature. After working in advertising, publicity and communications for many years in New York City, Hilton Head Island and Washington D.C. , she took a walkabout of several months in Europe to pursue her artistic and musical interests. Upon return to NC, she worked as a publicist for UNC-TV before marrying and starting a family. While her children were young she returned to university to pursue a major in Studio Art subsequently teaching at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh. Annetta is new to HOA management but is excited to join the team and use her communication background while building new skills in the field. She still hopes to make time for her art, music, gardening, walking and reading (but not at the same time).

TARA LACARA
Finance Manager
Tara Lacara grew up working in her family’s real estate business in Pennsylvania before attending Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts. After studying accounting, she went on to work at a large law firm in Boston before relocating to North Carolina. Tara was the Finance Director for a Chapel Hill private school and Finance Manager for Berkeley Property Management, which later merged with Mill House when they added their HOA division in 2019.
